Wes Font

Wes Font – Designed in an online course at the TypeType School of fonts and typography, the Wes font draws inspiration from Wes Anderson’s signature aesthetic – with its symmetrical layout, pastel color palette, and fantastical storytelling. Designer Yelena Madyankina, a passionate fan of Anderson’s films, aimed to create a font ideal for Wes Anderson’s film introductions, posters, and titles.

Influenced by Woody Allen’s signature use of Windsor Light Condensed fonts (white letters on a black background), Wes combines traditional serif elements with an emotional, introspective character. It captures the essence of a “deep and rich inner world,” making it versatile for film branding, editorial design, and creative projects.
